ICC, the Internet Chess Club


ICC is a place where you can play chess online with other people. On ICC, you play other people online and you have a online rating. You have a rating for standard (slow) chess, a rating for blitz, and a rating for Bullet. You can also have a rating for bughouse and wild chess. There are 29 types of chess you can play on ICC. These ratings are higher than your regular rating. For example, the highest ratings for standard are around 3000.

Fritz Chess




Fritz Chess is a chess tool that is very helpful. Fritz can analyze your games and help you get better. If you get Fritz, then you can also play against the computer. The computer can be set at various levels so you can play against a computer at your level. You can choose a reckless player, a extremely defensive player, a huge trader, anything. In Fritz, there also is a huge opening book so you can study a ton of openings, and the computer says a variety of tips and funny comments. Fritz can also act as your personal chess coach and teach you openings.
